As the Process Improvement Manager, you will manage the definition, analysis, and implementation of process improvements in pursuit of operational excellence and the achievement of strategic objectives You’ll be responsible for leading complex process improvement projects that deliver sustained and measurable results and support knowledge transfer of process improvement methods and practices through training and development of others at all levels of the organization. Additionally, you’ll use data to tell a story and drive operational improvements to move the data in the right direction.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and execute processes or projects and work with process owners or team leaders throughout all phases of planning, implementation and control.
  • Responsible for clarifying scope and ensuring process improvement effort maintains direction and fulfills expectations
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate process improvement projects with cross functional teams.
  • Promote more effective use of existing tools and processes and eliminate those that are not used or are ineffectual.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Process Improvement, conduct targeted process improvement initiatives to determine how these processes can be completed in an effective, efficient and cost saving manner.
  • Design and deploy scalable support processes to drive consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Determine business needs and scalable solutions to solve process issues through process mapping, observation and analysis.
  • Autonomously lead small to medium scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for clarifying scope and ensuring process improvement effort maintains direction and fulfills expectations
  • Serve as a catalyst for change management as well as teach, mentor, and coach others.
  • Work with division leaders or managers to drive change within their respective divisions by helping to build consensus on process improvement initiatives.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university
  • Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with SDLC, CI/CD and Agile Methodologies
  • Knowledge of process failure modes and effects analysis (PFMEA)
  • Knowledge of process approach and systems thinking
  • Knowledge of Capability Maturing Model Integration (CMMI) and ISO
  • Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred (or, must be willing to immediately take steps to attain)
  • Experience with program management and customer support processes, standards & certification
  • Proven experience in technical writing to include message development and delivery, data gathering and analysis, planning and prioritization. Ability to write clearly for specific audiences directed by clearly defined purposes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technical software as it relates to the position.
